ISO 9001 Certification in the context of quality management refers to a globally recognised standard for quality management systems (QMS). It outlines the criteria for a QMS and is based on a number of quality management principles including a strong customer focus, the involvement of top management, a process-based approach, and continual improvement. ISO 9001 helps organisations ensure that their products and services consistently meet customer and regulatory requirements and that quality is consistently improved.
